The grave keeper
The grave keeper is the person who provides care for Medicinska Föreningen's memorial burial place at The northern cemetary in Solna, and sees to that the agreement of care for Associate Professor Axel Westermark's grave is kept.
The grave keeper's duties
- To provide care of the burial place which comprices keeping the grave in a well-tended and worthy condition, cutting and trimming the grass and the plantation area, clearing weeds, and plant and replace flowers and other plants around the grave.
- To visit the burial place at least six times per year in order to see if intervention as statet above is needed doing.
- To light candles on the grave, and decorate it - if possible in the colours of Medicinska Föreningen, on the Sunday after All Saint's day.
- At the time of entombment, assist the decedent estate and the dependants of the the deceased with advice and information concerning the grave.
- To confer with the dependants of the deceased regarding the care of the grave.
- To set up proper care taking for the grave of Associate Professor Axel Westermark.
- At least once per year, visit the grave of Associate Professor Axel Westermark to make sure the grave is well-tended, and if not so, file complaints to the graveyard service.
