Medicinska föreningen thinks that our members should afford to travel more! And so thinks STA Travel, so now all our members get a 10% discount on all hotel- and hostel-bookings through STA Travel! They also takes away the booking fee of 250 SEK for all MF-members. Just remember to register your Mecenat card number! So now, there are even more reasons to become a member! /Medicinska föreningen.

Membership
The student union consists of its members. We want it to be easy to become and being a member and, not the least, it must be profitable. As a studentmember you pay a fee every semester. You become a meber as soon as you have paid the membership fee. If your already are a member, you prolong your membership by paying the membership fee for the next semester. The membership has been reduced from SEK 320 to SEK 195 from autumn 2010. This gives you access to the student unions activities and the Mecenatkort which gives you hundreds of nice student discounts.
Starting autumn 2010 it's also possible for anyone to become a supportive member.
PAY YOUR MEMBERSHIP FEE/PROLONG YOUR MEMBERSHIP!
As a member in Medicinska Föreningen you get:
- the Mecenatkort gives you access to hundreds of student discounts all over Sweden.
- to buy the SL student travelcard, which is 35 % cheaper than compared to buying ordinary 30 day travelcards.
- rent student accommodations through Stiftelsen Stockholms Studentbostäder (SSSB).
- support from student ombudsman or graduate student ombudsman that are independent from Karolinska Institutet and help you with problems or questions regarding your studies or research.
- take part of and in the student education influence at Karolinska Institutet.
- take part in the many activities (such as sports, parties and social gatherings) that our members in the different parts of MF are arranging.
