Solvik

Solvik is Medicinska Föreningen's sports cabin at Värmdö, close to Stockholm. It consists of a group of small cabins close to the water, where the sun almost always shines. You can go here when you want to have a party, have a sauna bath, go canoeing, chill out with your friends, have a walk in the woods, sunbath or when you just want to study in peace and quiet.

At Solvik there are lots of beds, boats, canoes and a sauna. The kitchen is well equipped, including a dishwasher and it is possible to prepare food for up to 30 persons. We have new, nice outside toilets but lack showers, however it's possible to take a bath in Mälaren. During the autumn, winter and spring, Solvik is rented per day and during the summer per week. It is easy to go from Slussen by bus and then take a 12-minute walk through the woods.
