We are happy to extend an invitation to you for this year’s PhD party organized by the Doctoral Student's Association (DSA). It will take place on May 25th in the MF aula, Solna campus. More information will be coming shortly, but save the date!
We would also like to showcase the talents of KI's PhD students so if you can sing, dance, play an instrument or if you have a band, and would like to entertain your fellow students and party-goers please get in contact with us. Welcome to the Doctoral Students Association

The Doctoral Students Association (DSA) (Swedish: Doktorandsektionen)  is a section within Medicinska Föreningen, the Medical Students' Union. DSA organizes 2.500 postgraduate students aiming for a licentiate or doctoral degree at Karolinska Institutet.

The DSA believes that the Karolinska Institutet could become and remain one of the world’s best places for postgraduate education. The prerequisite for this is to provide a well discussed study plan, good financing, satisfactory supervising throughout the project and a friendly and safe working environment for all PhD students.

DSA represents PhD students in all boards and committees of Karolinska Institutet where decisions are made about graduate studies. Our aim is to make the postgraduate education at KI as good as possible, especially with focus on rules and regulations, graduate students rights, financing of the studies, postgraduate courses and career opportunities after dissertation.
