The Equal Treatment Committee works with the university and the union to ensure equal opportunities for all students, regardless of sex, cross-gender identity or expression, age, ethnicity, religion or other belief, sexual orientation or disability.
We are trying to establish a friendly and diverse environment, both at the Karolinska Institute and in the Medical Students’ Association. Our aim is for all students to feel safe and welcome at all times.
Our work includes raising awareness, driving change and supporting diversity. Among other things, we host events to inform students about their rights, we work with KI to change policies on reporting incidents and we try to make the MF house more accessible.
If you would like to join the Equal Treatment Committee or if you would like to bring an issue to our attention, please don’t hesitate to contact us! You can also follow us on Facebook to see all of our events and activities.
